The New Tragic has recorded a 3-song demo and recently released a video for the track “A Half Cocked Smile And Two Guns Blazin’�? . I love the video. This band looks like its going to destroy every town it goes through. I can see these guys land somewhere soon.

do we really need another band that sounds like this? has this genre proven to sell or have anything new to offer since it got started? this is nothing new or different or even interesting. this is a hardcore reject supergroup and sounds the exact same as every other band in the genre for the last 10 or so years.

These guys started the Wave of this music becoming in every kids ear over the last 5 years. Have some respect. Every member of this band has toured for years playing music they love. I would somewhat agree with you if these guys had no credibility or track record, but that isnt the case. At the end of the day these guys are going to make their mark and every label knows it.

Oh, Dallas Taylor. How did he get mixed up into the likes of this? I mean they are talented individuals and the sound is clean and probably moderately appealing to some, but in numerous interviews he said he never wanted to be a part of a band that sounded just like so many other bands in this media saturated genre. Sure their shirts will be selling out at a Hot Topic near you very soon I’m sure, but Dallas was the last person I expected to get lumped into this. Couldn’t they have done something different and risen above the likes of new From First To Last and new UnderOATH? Now we’ll have 16 year old girls with too much eyeliner screaming for their babies. What about originality & respect?

Anyone who has to critize every little thing that comes out thats classified as “emo” or “screamo” or wtv is pretty retarded, i mean these guys are having fun singing their hearts out, give good feed back or none at all! im not saying yur not allowed to have yur own opinion but there is times where you just have to keep it to yurself! its that simple and well this is comming from someone who likes this type of music.. anyways they look like theyre gonna go far, and i hope they do
