James Blunt is beginning to prove that he wrote more than one hit. Is Blue October going to break? ….Who would have thought Buckcherry would debut on the top 50? Lava Records will be distributing the record now.
I don’t understand the Panic! at the Disco thing. That band is nothing but a watered down version of Fall Out Boy. The hooks are not nearly as strong and the band is boring as hell live.
I like the Blue October single a lot. I see the video on VH1 late at night a lot.
How do you feel about SIA?

Panic! at the Disco is all hype. You can be boring and still be huge…look at Hawthorne Heights. It’s all about putting the name out there, and that kid from Fall Out Boy that signed Panic! is doing a great job. If it weren’t for myspace, none of these bands would be anywhere.
Internet promotion…who woulda thunk it.
I’m not all that surprised to see that Buckcherry debuted in the Top 50. I am, however, surprised to see that they’re opening Candlebox’s reunion tour this summer. Weird combo…especially since I think Buckcherry will outdraw them.

I actually kind of like Panic! At The Disco. They’re hands down one of the most popular bands on Altsounds.com and they only have 2 songs up (a non-single and a demo track), getting 1,658,748 plays! I think the single is weak, but once they release The Only Difference…, it may change opinions. I wouldn’t credit hype for their sales numbers solely. Yellowcard is one of, if not THE most overhyped band in mainstreanm music, but I don’t think their sales numbers have been reflecting the massive amounts of money that has been invested in promotion. Stop, turn, take a look around…your music is lame.
I am glad to see The Fray doing well…score another one for KOAR.

The Fray’s album is bone dry and boring as shit all the way through.

without crappy Good Charlotte singer behind him, Morrissey can’t sell shit!!!
Good for BO and Buckcherry - but isnt Lava Records technically gone? Shoudlnt it be Atlantic?

The Fray deserve all the record sales their getting…even if I never listen past track 4. As far as P!ATD…I guess they’re better than Fall Out Boy, at least their record is a bit more diverse sounding, and record sales will only continue to be huge with the release of more singles/videos.
GO BUCKCHERRY!
