-“I cannot believe the future of music is giving it away”
Those are the words of Graham Henderson, the president of the Canadian Recording Industry Association, as quoted in a The Chronicle Herald article by Patricia Launt.
-Tower Records files for Bankruptcy for Second Time.
-Rapper Trina was dropped from Atlantic Records for lackluster sales.
-Rapper Lil Kim is close to finalizing a deal with Interscope Records.
Is Atlantic like going out? They dropped P.O.D., Taproot, The Darkness, Tina in several instances.

good observation!

You mean dropping bands that haven’t really had much of a career for several years? Surely this must mean the end of the label!
PS. The Darkness, while not selling well, were not dropped.

1) P.O.D. has not been the same since Marcos left. So thier last album was not that great.
2)I won’t count Taproot out. Great band, creative with a sound of thier own. Keep an eye on these guys.
3)It’s Trina not Tina
4) I spoke about Tower earlier, whos going to buy a CD for 19.99
5) Lil Kim isn’t worth much without Chis Wallace to write her material. How many times can you rap about sucking somone off anyway.
