  1. Good music for once .. Epic needs to consider a signing with this band. The only problem I have is that the singer sounds like the dude from Breaking Benjamin.

  2. Lol are you serious Larry? This band has the potential of the Hinder/Incubus space in my opin. They can blow up big time. Hinder/Nickelback have the majority of market share. If they sounded like “Panic at the Disco” or another “Fall Out Boy” .. I would have to agree or turn on Fuse.

  3. Copper is decent band with a good producer. People forget the importance of a great producer…and connections. Do you remember Blink 182’s first album…I’m pretty sure it sounded like a crap. Yes, if Copper gets signed and everything they will do well for awhile…but I have to agree…they will be washed away with all the other same sounding acts.
They need acts that appeal both sides….Thrice had something going but it’s always one of the first type of bands that screwed. Check out this band…
    BEHIND THE BLINDFOLD
the singer is needs some work…and they didn’t need a producer. Imagine if they got one.

  4. I’ve known about Copper for a while now, since late 2005/early 2006. I’m definitely glad to see them on here. Great band.

  6. Doug, I agree .. there needs to be originality and bands need to have good producers and a distinct sound .. but when bands tried to hard to be different .. you get these horrible sounding bands that get major push that can’t produce revenue for the labels. I’m sorry .. the whole downloading thing can only go so far.

  7. You know he does sound like the Breaking Benjamin dude in the chorus parts. And you know what!? This song is VERY VERY similar to Saliva’s Always!!! Listen to this then listen to that.

  9. and thats the problem 49 hrs of pro-tools, a producer that makes them sound like everyone else and guys who can’t play.and not one fresh idea anywhere.quit being forced fed this crap and start looking for real bands.

  10. What is a real band? Rehashe radio ac/dc & putting out more Beatle cds? No disrespect to The Beatles .. will always be known for their great achievements .. but come on now .. oh I see .. we want more “commercial pop” ok.

  11. Larry - sorry, you don’t know what you are talking about. You hear these guys and yes, the tracks are heavily produced, but the fact is, these guys have been pulling off their songs live for years. If you are complaining that they can’t pull it off live, then I have to dissagree. Even though, I will say, as someone who has been listening for more than a couple of years, I wish they would try something different. They have sounded the same on just about every track. Take some chances guys.

  12. These are the demos that Atlantic paid for and passed on. Some chick at Epic is feeling this, but who in their right mind would sign with Epic right now?
