Check out this video MY HUMPS from Alanis Morissette that is getting a HUGE viral buzz as she makes fun at her pop peer FERGIE. A great creative performance from Alanis. This video also shows the silliness of top 40 pop and this is the result of the declining sales. A brilliant critique of the sexism and materialism in hip hop. Ironically, this hasn’t even reached mainstream press, a true web phenomena
Alanis was always great pointing out the ’stupidity’ of bad pop. She changes the melody of the song in this parody so you can hear the lyrics and have time to digest the message.
So it’s okay to make fun of Fergie but not Nickelback? I’m sick and tired of these bazillionaire musicians putting so much time and effort into dissing one another. I’ll take “Fergalicious” over “Thank U” any day.

Cant even compare Fergie to Nickelback. Its comparing apples to oranges.
