Apple is facing SEC scrutiny and questions about improper options granting practices by Steve Jobs…………………

The Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to file civil fraud charges against Apple’s former top lawyer about stock options backdating. 3. agreed, seeing muse friday (sadly opening for MCR), but still can’t wait. they are playing 8 songs on this tour, but its with full production so it should be great. and i looked it up, they have sold just over 300,000 here. probably 5 million+worldwide. is there a chart that compiles worldwide sales? they are the biggest rock band in the world these days…

  4. hey !you all…thats cause country fans BUY cd’s and don’t steal off the internet.there is christian rock bands that sell more cd’s a year than U.2 it’s rock bands that suffer the worst from downloading.Rascal Flatts is up town country not the “twangy” real stuff you would hear on XM’s Willy’s Place.and i said that Avril Lavigne would go 3 million on this record or else i’m gonna have to give up a bottle of Jack…

  6. “most people can’t even name one song by this guy…” pretty interesting there man. i can name 4 million people who can name EVERY song by them; at least from just this record; not counting the other 2 MULTI-PLATINUM RECORDS THEY HAVE HAD IN THE PAST 5 YEARS. Seriously, I question the validity of anyone who posts comments about the “industry” and is not even AWARE of a band that is selling that huge. Hell, I can even hate a bands music but if they sold that big I WOULD KNOW ABOUT THEM; IT IS KIND OF HARD TO MISS.

  8. Sorry guys, I will start listening to more country attentively. I do respect any band that sells that much, absolutely! I just surprised myself that (while I have heard of Rascal Flatts), I can’t name a song…

  9. Eek… skimmed the comments and missed that jake had already posted Muse’s US sales figures. BHAR received a Platinum Europe Award (1 million) from IFPI last fall.
