So yea, they totally swapped out the endings in the replay. But, it didn't really change anything. That (crappy) song was tailor made for Jordin, and just was not a song Blake would ever do. I do see your point about the performances shown to audiences, though. I think, in this case, it didn't really make a difference. But, it does make you wonder if AI does this sort of thing in every show.....

AMERICAN IDOL FRAUD (AI is NOT Live)

You write that Jordan cried at the end of her performance of This Is My Now. She did indeed. Now go back and look at the snips of that performance shown at the end of the show.

PRESTO CHANGE-O! NO MORE TEARS.

For those of you who recorded last night's show, replay it watching more closely. At the end of the show there are snips of Jordan's and Blake's performances. The snips are from ADDITIONAL performances of their songs.

Live! MY BUTT.

It's obvious the producers picked witch performances they let the TV audience see.

This WREAKS of vote rigging fraud.

Here's why the show sucked this year-

Week 1- theme: Diana Ross
Week 2- theme: British Invasion/Peter Noone & Lulu
Week 3- theme: Songs that inspired Gwen Stefani
Week 4- theme: American Classics/Tony Bennett
Week 5- theme: Latin/J.Lo
Week 6- theme: Country/Martina McBride
Week 7- theme: Inspirational Songs/Bono
Week 8- theme: Bon Jovi
Week 9- theme: Barry Gibb
Week 10- theme: Judge, producer, contestant choice
Week 11- theme: Contestant choice, repeat song, winner of songwriting contest

Good thing they don't announce those line-ups in advance...I'm not sure if anyone would have bothered watching. Contestant ability and 'it factor' aside, the themes were lame and so were the 'celebrity performances.'

The Idol formula of dragging results that take 5 seconds to announce into an hour long commercial has turned off a lot of fans who just don't feel like its worth sitting through anymore. Even if you CAN deal with them stopping just short of shoving a needle full of Coca Cola into your arm, who really wants to watch Lulu perform, or hear all of Barry Gibb's non-hits butchered by amateurs?

I live in Phx, AZ. I'm pretty sick of the Jordan Sparks love everywhere. She is a great karaoke singer but really what does she have to contribute to music? Can she really give us something we will be listening to years from now. What's the point?

According to Zap2it.com

Ratings are

"American Idol" 14.5/23 at 8 p.m.

"Dancing" finale, 14.6/22 at 9 p.m.

How can you compare 2 shows that aren't on the same time slot?

FOX won the 18-49 demo with a 6.7 rating compared to 5.3 for ABC.

It sure doesn't help AI to have 2 ordinary finalists. These 2 are definitely not superstars caliber.
