No news with Paramore, they’re just like everyother boy band (yes, i know they’re fronted by a girl) put together by a record label… it’s not like there music is ground breaking… not like they even write it… and its not like there gonna be around in 2-3 years… who cares.

My girlfriend just added Misery Business to her iPod after hearing it on Music Choice.

i love how the plain white ts are still getting big off a song they wrote and released years ago.
i’m not really surprised paramore is the biggest band on warped right now. i was there a week ago and they had a huge crowd. i don’t think they’re extraordinary, but they’re young and have room for a lot more progress.

people must be in for a real shock when they see paramore live….unless their soundman can chop up & replace all of the drum hits, layer all of the vocals and laser tune them with melodyne, etc….pure hype….i only wish some of the many talented bands that are writing consequential, original music were given more support- then we would see album sales go up and these one off digital downloads of force-fed novelty rock go down.

Paramore gets so much hate now, they must be doing things right.

Just to set the record straight. Paramore wad not put together by a label. That is a rumor.

Just to set a number of things straight - Paramore was not put together by a record label, they absolutely do write their own songs and the most ignorant comment above, by far, comes from the person who claims they can’t possibly reproduce their sound live. Based on your statement, I have to assume you’ve never in your life seen them perform live. Anyone will tell you that they’re a BETTER live band. Hayley’s voice is brilliant live - personally, I think she often sounds better than she does on the albums - and they kill it onstage, every single night.

I’m on Warped Tour right now and I see this band play to huge crowds every day. But on Warped ‘05, I saw them play on the Shira Girl stage in front of 10 kids, every day.
This band is getting bigger but it’s not because of lack of work. They have been building this for 4 years now.
You can hate them but they aren’t an overnight success story like most people think.
