If they were old and washed up, nobody would be going to see them. Period. I give them props for still stumbling out onto the stage. I'd do it, too. Everybody is entiltled to their opinion though, and that is exactly what the author of the article basically exercised. Who honestly cares at the end of the day whether or not a critic likes the Rolling Stones? Keith should just laugh and bump another line of his father. This isn't about Germans...this is about tired old bands with NO new material poorly performing their own hits that are 20-30 years old. I don't WANT to bash bands like the Rolling Stones, but the longer they try to pull off this Weekend At Bernies concert routine, the harder it is for me to remember why they were once so great. Hang it up. Retire with dignity. The MUSIC is timeless, but the artists WILL NOT last forever.
