You know marketing schemes have gotten to the industry when they’re using karaoke as an artist discovery tool. Just imagine what the biography or any article written on them would sound like: “…She was discovered, of all places, in a karaoke bar…”

Gee, wouldn’t it be nice if the Music Industry just simply hired people who know great music? It used to be the Talent was the CORE, and the Hype was the “outer shell” now the HYPE is the Talent and whatever dubious “skill” the Artist may have is
the “outer shell” It’s kinda like a really amazingly

Tim, if the contract wouldnt be finished yet, do you think Epic’s new media department would design graphics for the band and upload them to their server? Come on, lets not bullshit ourselves.

It’s probably one of those things where the contracts aren’t completely finished. TWTA isn’t on the Epic Record roster, on the site.

Tim, their manager is a liar! Even their MySpace graphis are hosted on Epic’s server. http://epicrecords.com/myspace/whitetieaffair2/whitetieaffair-header.gif

Plus, take a look at who they have been and are touring with. Usually it are Epic recording artists. Quietdrive, Sean Kingston, Automatic Love Letter, etc

Dallas, yes Val Emmich butchered the song on his indie release. He told me he may release it on his new record, out at the end of the years.

White Tie Affair is not signed to Epic, according to their manager.

I have received a ton of emails about them being signed. Officially, they are unsigned.
