New viruses inflicted Myspace this week and last week that prevented millions of artists to upload the tour dates. This was a bug due to the Macys viral spam.

One more thing....

When you see huge companies like Fox, Sony, Microsoft and Google fighting over shares of MySpace and Facebook, you know something big is going to happen with those sites.

Annie, you're obviously not in touch with what's going on - so please stop spreading rumors that "MySpace is on the decline". Facebook is just growing faster at the moment, that's all. And that's a normal trend, since Facebook still has a lot of catching up to do. MySpace is still the #1 social networking site, and as long as Facebook cant create better music applications (for artists) than MySpace, it will stay this way.

MySpace is on the decline. The younger audience that MySpace targets is moving on to Facebook and deleting their Myspaces. Social networking sites are turning into trends instead of solid, workable ways to promote musicians. The key for the music industry definatly does not lie in MySpace, nor any other site like it.

Yeah, this was a big problem earlier. People just need to stop typing in their password when it asks for your password. The only time you put in your password is when the person before me said....when you actually type in www.myspace.com.

Cell phone viruses are doubling, every month. That is going to be a big problem, really soon.

You can't possibly have just noticed this. The Macys things started back in March or April, along with iPhone ones shortly after. They're not nearly as much of a problem now as they were back then. As long as you keep your password totally private and only log in to the MySpace page when you have typed in www.myspace.com yourself (a lot of passwords get stolen from fake login pages), you should be fine. MySpace also HAS done something to help slow this down. Now, before you post a comment on a users page, you have to type in a verification code every time. It actually gets really irritating for the normal user, but it's done to stop the computers who make those "get a Macy's gift card" posts from being able to do so, since they can't read and enter the code. And you do realize any audio streamed online is temporarily saved on the computer before it's played back, and so can be saved permanently... It's hardly just a MySpace problem.
