But it's ridiculous to think that just because you had success with John Shanks that you'll have success with Timbaland. Manufacturing an artist is one thing, remanufacturing one is something entirely different. And Ashlee Simpson is no Madonna, not by a long shot. Plus the video was like... way over my head. And new Lydia is like a second rate Copeland. I don’t see how the Ashlee single is any more derivative than most of the stuff that gets praised here.
