Tooth & Nail does & for a long time has done a great job at working out a niche. They've probably done it better than anyone. When you build a niche you become your own gatekeeper... when these bands sign to a major, all of the sudden they're scrambling for ears, but everything that comes out on Tooth & Nail is going to be checked out by the tastemakers in that crowd. If you keep putting out solid material, it's hard not to be successful.

The majors obviously don't know what to do with a band like Mae or the Starting Line, anyhow. I feel like Anberlin is going to flounder, too. But Tooth & Nail will be at it for a long time to come, you can have a career there.
