Pete Wentz is pissed because MTV will not play music videos. Here is what he (should)say:

hey guys, lets start our own music video channel

Once upon a time MTV played nothing but videos. Then slowly the "Real World" and "Remote Control" took over and there was no time to play videos. The answer? MTV 2 of course. A station dedicated to nothing but full length music videos. Then "Boiling Point" and "Cribs" took over and there was no longer any time left for music videos. Guess it's time for MTV 3.

There's one too many words in that sentence.

MTV ruined their image long before present time. Ever since Youtube came out it has been a huge place to view music videos. I can't remember the last time one of my friends told me they saw "so and so"'s latest music video on TV. They, instead, send me the link to their Youtube video. The best videos are the ones not hyped on mtv anyway. I'm sick of music videos that are just of women shaking their behinds and crawling all over some guy's body; I like the more artistic videos.

As for other pieces of news, great props to Apple for the ringtone idea. I hear ringtones are a great addition to profit for the music industry. Apple knows what they're doing and who they're doing it for.

1.Flobots is number 1? Wow. They sent me the cd for review on my Hoodgrown Online site. I guess I should take a listen.

2. Napster launched with mp3's but I can't use Safari to browse it. In this day and age, beyond sloppy programming there is no reason a site should be browser specific. Amazon understood this from the jump. Someone needs to inform Napster and Walmart.
