Virginia pop rock outfit My Favorite Highway who spent years on the scene finally signed to Virgin Records after generating excitement with their new full length. My Favorite Highway caught the interest of KOAR when they released their first track ‘Murder On The Radio‘. During the course of the years, the band dropped the rock roots and gravitated towards the pop direction ala Jason Mraz and The Fray.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the old My Favorite Highway, but good for them, lets see if the band breaks.
i like the band “the virgins” from new york way better. hey rich girls!
the band has a great grassroots fan base all over the US. we’ll see what virgin can do with it. pretty good songs, kind of a vanilla sound for my pref, but i think it’ll do very well.
very vanilla! don’t even understand what he is saying in the songs, whatever, post some new good stuff please! I liked Death Pilot and that guy DAWM.
Virgin, eh? My crystal ball tells me what will happen.

good for them. I would have like to see them take an alternative approach then to sign with a label as they have built such a loyal following, but got to do whats best for them.
After all those years of being patient, they finally signed. Good for them!
