as Owens sorts out her pain and loss.
In her myspace blog Ownes writes, “Everyone goes through that time in their life when they’re so hopeful. So motivated and secure with things and then the rug gets snatched right out from underneath them. I realized I missed a step in the big math problem. I stepped where no stone was put. I breathed on my way up from the bottom too soon and now I’m drowning, skinning my knee, and failing.

It sounds pretty good.
The line about breathing too soon on the way up is great.
The tone on that solo is straight up Jackson Browne. Too bad the solo sucks.
There’s a whole lot of potential here, though. Great songwriting. I wonder if she has anything to say. That would be great.
I agree, potential here. Good songwriting for sure but I think she has something to say. Yes, the solo is weak, sounds like a bad sheryl crow slide guitar.
“Everyone” cannot be “their” – only his or her. That is intentionally picky, because there’s not much else to find wrong with this artist. For a developing act she’s on the right track. A bright future this one has. Longevity is hers.
Ok, I gathered all of that by looking at her picture. I can’t lie.
hey abby that sounds really good,KEEP ON GOING YOU WILL MAKE IT!!!!!!!!
