The Energy

energy

NYC rock/alternative act The Energy has released their new album “Realize Your Sin” on March 31st. The band has upcoming east coast dates. Recently performed with Lifehouse at the Malibu Music Fest. The track “Runaway” was featured on the final episode of MTV’s The Real World: Hollywood. Apparently, the band can sell out Irving Plaza in NYC, and  Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ. For fans of Train, Lifehouse, etc. Our favorite track is Lights.

Selling out Irving Plaza is impressive for an unknown band – and YES! they sound like Train. Good band!

Has a nineties production vibe. Also, you can tell the band actually plays their own instruments which is refreshing – no auto-tune. Refreshing.

Technically speaking, paramorefan, have you used auto tune? It’s not like an effect you just slap on a track. I’m not accusing them of using it, just calling bunk when you say it doesn’t exist on the track. The experts can make it sound like it’s not there. Pitch bending, also different, is undetectable in many cases.
