Hip Hop still rules the world, this doesn’t surprise me!

Just goes to show that you can do something different from what’s out there and still make it to the top. Only catch is the song has to be somewhat ridiculous… And it has to be repetitive and sparse. And have an 808 kick drum. And usually you have to be an established act. But other than that, go crazy!

Black Eyed Peas are the new Led Zeppelin. Seriously, totaly rockin it out in the photo!

Boom Boom Pow is the summer song!

  5. longino says:

if that was a joke, it was funny.

Actually, I agree. Black Eyes Peas could be the next Led Zeppelin. They sold almost half of the record Zeppelin sold early in their career. Pretty good for a non-touring act.

Heck, even Monkey Business features some acoustic guitar playing from Jack Johnson in the single “Gone Going”.

Black Eyed Peas is much more edgier than any current rock band – isn’t that obvious? Rich makes an excellent point.

  7. longino says:

please stop comparing this group to zepplin. thanks.

Yes, the public has spoken. “Just like we spoke about Pet Rocks, or Jimmy Carter.” The public then went on to say that its decisions were the result of inbreeding between moronic liberals and idiot republicans.

  9. Jon Cole says:

I could see Will.I.Am taking the Peas out on a reunion stadium tour with Alter Bridge’s singer instead of Fergie & the light guy’s son (provided the light guy makes an early exit).

I can’t help but feel like Jimmy Page would’ve played a much more convincing John Wraith in Wolverine, though.
