Matthew Thiessen of Relient K made significant contributions to the latest Owl City release, Ocean Eyes, including producing the #1 BILLBOARD HOT 100 SINGLE “Fireflies” (along with adding vocals). Other features include “The Bird and The Worm” (co-wrote, co-produced, vocals), “Tidal Wave” (co-produced, vocals), and
“Cave In” (co-wrote, vocals).
Matt has also co-written a song with Katy Perry called “Long Shot” which is featured on Kelly Clarkson’s current platinum release All I Ever Wanted.
Meanwhile, Relient K’s latest release “Forget and Not Slow Down” Debuted at #15 on the Billboard Charts 2 weeks ago with over 35,000 records sold in its first week.

I like Relient K.I heard about “Must Have Done Something Right” on The GospelChannel on TV at my father’s House.I ahve the Apathestic EP and The MHMM-Fourth albumof Relient K. I listen to it sometimes,but not allof the time.Relient K are up on my favorite list on Christian RocknRoll.
I even heard about Skillet’s “Monster on 97.9 Watched the music videoon Fuse. It sounds that Skilet are pretty great along with Barlowgirl, Krystal Meyers,and The Point Of GraCE.

Relient K is a great band,and I heard about “Must Of DOne Something Right from Five Scores and Seven Years Ago.I have the MMHMM cd,and ApathesticEP which I listen to sometimes and not all of the time.I heard alot about them in my Alternative Press Magazines.I know the RelienK are up on my favorties list for Christian RocknRoll. I heard of Skillet’s “Monster on 97.9 and watched music video on fuse. I heard of KrystalMeyers,Barlowgirl,and The Point Of Grace.I listen to a Little bit of Christian/Gospelmusic and not a wholelot of it. I even like Mary Mary.
